Repair & Advice
My Electrolux range (11 yrs old) had a flashing E15 error with a continuous beeping. Searching online I found that many people cleared this error by simply cleaning under the gasket around the control panel. When cleaning under the gasket, I noticed the existing gasket was cracked in some spots so I felt it would be best to replace it. NOTE: I cleaned all surfaces & replaced the gasket but this did not clear the E15 code problem! To clear the E15 code, I had to replace the ESEC-UIB control board. I'll write about that under that part number.
Replacing the gasket was tricky & meticulous but not extremely difficult but getting to the point where the gasket is accessible is very involved. Although the video link below is for an Electrolux induction range, I found it very helpful to determine the correct order to disassemble the stove to access the gasket:

One point in the video that was helpful was that the guy recommends using several small containers to keep the various screws, etc. separated according to where they are on the stove. I also highly recommend that you do this! Also, not shown in the video is the replacement of the gasket but the video does get you to that point. When to that point where the stovetop is unscrewed, pick it up a few inches and place a couple of small pieces of wood under it to hold it slightly above the control surface. Do not flip the stovetop over. Remove the old gasket and thoroughly clean the glass control surface with isopropyl alcohol. You can then position the new gasket in place around the control panel surface while holding it temporarily in place with small pieces of masking tape spaced every few inches around the surface. Try not to stretch the gasket whatsoever while working it into place. I found that even doing this, I had to cut off about 1.5" of the gasket for it to fit properly. At this point, remove the pieces of wood and carefully lower the stovetop into place on the control surface being careful not to damage the new gasket. This is where a small palette knife with an offset blade or something similar will be handy to ensure the gasket lies flat in place. Once the gasket is smoothly in place and the stovetop fully lowered back into place, use the reverse of the disassembly process to put the stove back together.
