Washer would not spin/or spins slowly

Disconnect power cord and water/drain lines.. Pull washer out a few feet. Remove agitator. Lean washer over to rest against wall. Unplug wire harness on transmission, remove transmission. Replace clutch. Assembly is reverse of disassembly.

Watched YouTube videos for repair. I opted to lay my machine on its back. Reminder, the springs have to match the original and must be set for proper placement by spinning it. See YouTube repair videos for your particular model. I have a Direct Drive model and it was fairly easy to replace. Also, not the first time we had this machine in repair, but is still working. Bought new in 2007.

This is the 3 pad clutch, not the commercial 6 pad clutch. Still works fine.
