Problem
The rubber part of the handles had split due to use.
Tools
Screw and nut-drivers. Channelock pliers. Rubber mallet.
Repair & Advice
The parts were an *exact match* to what they replaced and required no modification.
Do NOT worry about the trim that's attached directly to the handles--you'll get there.
Take the vertical trim holders off the top and bottom edges of the door.
Slide the top trim insert up and out of channel to expose handle-top screws.
Grip bottom edge of bottom trim insert with Channelocks and tap downward with rubber mallet to expose handle-bottom screws.
Remove screws holding handle to door (The vertical trim comes off the fridge when you remove the handle.)
Turn handle over.
Use nut driver to remove the screw and take off the handle-mounted trim.
To replace, it's the same thing in reverse.
>>>When putting everything back together, be sure you slide and tap the upper trim insert *under* the handle-mounted trim. If you don't get the insert down inside there far enough, the trim holder at the top of the door will refuse to align!<<<
We're clean and neat folks, but I was surprised how much grunge was under and along the trim. I took the opportunity to clean both the front of the of the fridge and all of the trim. It looks brand new!
I didn't hurry at all. The repair time is for replacing TWO handles and does NOT include the cleaning time.

Problem
My refrigerator is working very well without any problem except the handle is broken. It looked ugly. I almost wanted giving it up. Then thought that I should try to fix it the first. I found your website and you have the exact part. I bought it. The replacement was very simple, just used screwdrivers. Now my refrigerator looks like new, I have been happy for it.
Tools
Screwdrivers with different handles. Needing a very short handle one for the bottom of refrigerator area.
Repair & Advice
The installation is easy and simple. Since my refrigerator is old, the first I needed to release the whole parts, some areas were hard to take off. Needing careful work without broken other parts. If you can release them successfully, then your installation has been successful 90%.
