Problem
Original sound insulation tore because installer drove kickplate screw into the into the insulation. The insulation is supposed to move freely over the top of the kickplate.
Tools
Ratcheting screwdriver with drivers to fit the fasteners on the insider of the door.
Repair & Advice
The fasteners on the top of the door for the control panel do not need to be removed to take off the outside door cover. You need to support the door cover or it will drop to the floor.
