Problem
My dryer would not start, even though there was power to the control panel and light.

First, if you are not scared of electricity, I strongly recommend finding the technician manual for your machine. My Maytag had a very detailed step-by-step technician's manual, which helped determine the issue immediately. Using the multimeter I was able to confirm the diagnosis from the manual (fyi: a dryer motor will not start on 2mV).
While no one wants to replace the master control board for any appliance, knowing what needs to be replaced makes the cost experience more palatable. The part was ordered and shipped quickly, and was straightforward to swap with the original. Thank you for having the parts available!

Fried control board, smoke and all.
Tools
Pliers, screw driver, socket set.
Repair & Advice
The hardest part was removing the top cover to reach the board. Once off it was just unplug the old and plug in the new. Works great now!
