Repair & Advice
So happy I found the parts dr website. With just my phone and a screwdriver I was able to diagnose and fix my boyfriends washer. Just followed the instructions and ordered the part others said I needed. My boyfriend thinks I'm so handy now!

Did have to purchase star bit for the mounting screws but needed them anyway
Repair & Advice
Motor came super fast, popped the top off the washer, unhooked and unscrewed motor. Popped on the new motor. Ran a test cycle before screwing top on. Smooth running!

Problem
Washer would not start because of an F30 error code
Tools
Philips and Torx screwdrivers
Repair & Advice
My lousy Choice Home Warranty would not cover the repair because a ‘soap dispenser’ Is not covered. Go figure, because without this motor, the washer does not run and the part was less than $42. The repair was very quick, removed the 3 back screws and lifted the top off. I then disconnected the cam arm off the top by gently pry it up with my fingers so I did not break the flimsy plastic. I unclipped the wire connectors, unscrewed the old motor, and wiped it all down to remove the mineral deposits that formed over the last 8 years.
The new motor went in place and put all back together in reverse order. The washer started right up and has been flawless since.
