Repair & Advice
I had already seen a video on you tube on how to remove the timer. There's 2 or 3 screws that you need to take out then it's just plug and play. This was a simple job once you know where the timer is. It's in the fridge compartment in the housing that holds the light. The only "concern" is that the plastic tabs that hold the timer in place I was concerned that they may break getting the old one out and new one in. Thankfully it worked great and was done in so little time. My old timer may not have been bad, but I figured it's easy to replace all 3 parts at once then guess and maby have a fridge that doesn't work again. I replaced this timer, thermostat and the defrosting heating element. All 3 took a little under 2 hours to complete.
