Repair & Advice
Very easy to install. If you can verify all fans and compressor are functioning. Then I highly recommend replacing the motherboard

Problem
The bottom of our refrigerator's fresh food section was too cold - food in the bottom drawer was freezing, and the evaporator was all iced up.
Tools
Screwdriver with 1/4 inch socket to remove panels.
Needlenose pliers to help remove some of the connectors from the main board.
Repair & Advice
Replacing the main board fixed the problem. I think the relay controlling the compressor was faulty which caused the compressor to run constantly. Swapping out the board was not too difficult and took less than an hour. Some of the connectors were difficult to remove. It took less than an hour.
The harder job, which took a couple weeks, was deciding exactly what the problem was. Videos and articles on this site and others helped, but I really didn't know for sure until several days after I did the swap.
In the end, the new board fixed it. The board arrived ahead of schedule with standard ground shipping.

Problem
Fridge fan would pulse rev constantly.
Tools
Screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Followed Part Dr. DIY install video on YouTube. Removed back panel. Took photo of old control board to ensure placement of plugs would be correct with new board. Popped out plugs, removed old board, replaced new board, replaced plugs, replaced metal cover panel. Plugged fridge back in, worked like a charm. No more revving fan. Fridge is quiet and cools perfectly without wild temp fluctuations.
