Problem
Range dual element burner would only operate on “high” regardless of setting.
Tools
1/4” nut driver and Phillips screwdriver
Repair & Advice
After receiving the part, I pulled the oven out from the counter, unplugged the unit, and took the back off of the control unit. Pull the knob, straight off, remove the two Phillips screws, pull the three wiring bundles, straight off of the back, and then reverse the process for installation.

Problem
Whirlpool electric range cooktop light indicating a burner was on remained on after all burners were turned off.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver and 1/4” nut driver.
Repair & Advice
Removed back panel and tested each burner switch by removing power harness from each switch until the light in question went out to identify the switch that needed to be replaced. Replace of the switch was as easy as recall wire harnesses from the target switch, and removing the two small screws from the front panel, after removing switch knob. Switch pulls out the back and repeat steps in reverse to install replacement switch.
