Problem
While I was installing a new vent hood, I inadvertently fried the electrical switch that controls the fan and the light.
Tools
Philips screwdriver, a steak knife, and electrical tape.
Repair & Advice
Turn the power off until after everything is installed. This part was identical to what I needed to replace, and it works like a charm.
