Problem
Water leaking from above the "thru-the-door" water dispenser.
Tools
Straight edge screwdriver, electrical tape, blue or duct tape, alcohol.
Repair & Advice
Remove lower refrigerator kick plate
Pulled the clip from the lower tube connector, depressed the end of the connector and released the tubing.
Look up under the control face plate. You will see 2 clips (far left and far right). Insert a flat screwdriver between the clip and the face to release them, one at a time. There is another release near the middle. It looks different, but releases the same. The panel should release with very little effort. DO NOT BREAK IT. You can tape the control panel up and to the door with some blue tape.
Note the routing of the upper part of the tube, wires and the clips that hold them in place. Take a couple pictures.
The larger end of the old tube is inserted into a cutout . You will need to carefully pry it out of the cutout, DO NOT BREAK IT.
Cut the plastic end from the old tube and electrical tape the lower end of the new tubing to the upper end of the old tubing. First, I attached 2-3" pieces of electrical tape lengthwise over the seam between the two, then I wrapped several layers of electrical tape around (going up and down the tube a couple times).
Make sure it is taped well, but not too fat, so that it does not come apart inside the door.
Pull the new tube through the door by pulling the old tubing out, at the floor. The bend will slide through the door with a little effort.
Once inserted, remove the tape and clean the end of the new tubing at the bottom.
Attach the lower end of the tube to the tube connector and reinsert the clip that was removed at the start.
From the top, pull the tube up and over to the right, attaching it to the clips. See the pictures you took.
Insert the upper end of the tube into the cut out. See the pictures you took.
Reassemble parts in reverse order of disassembly.

Tools
Electrical tape to attach new/old lines together, screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Torn water line at base of freezer door while attempting to repair snapped electrical wires. I was able to remove door control panel and then tape old/new lines together at base of door after disconnecting OEM line. Pulled line through door (top to bottom) and attached both ends to proper connection point. Ice maker wire inaccessible but at least I have water on demand through door.
