Needed additional shelf space in Whirlpool side by side freezer

Our new Whirlpool side by side had a support for an additional shelf in the freezer. Since we don't store large items such as pizzas, we could use the vertical space more efficiently with an additional wire shelf. After determining the proper dimensions of the wire shelf we wanted to add and the original part number, we ordered it. This was tricky since the wire shelves have different lengths depending on where they are positioned. We used a small hex head wrench to remove the light cover and bulb to position the additional wire shelf. If you choose the lower shelf, you need to order the right size so it will fit.
