Washer would barely spray water and had a code of F08 E01

Nut driver, pliers, and flat screwdriver.

Advice: if your washers spray when starting up only trickles against the window or your auto soap dispenser quits working, there is a good chance it is this diverter valve.

Washer detergent dispenser motor did not run and occasional low flow codes.

Screwdriver, pliers.

The detergent pump would not run and flow into the washer appeared slow. Occasionally we would get a low flow code. I went through the technician troubleshooting steps and found no problems with the pump circuit. At this point, the troubleshooting guide said to replace the expansion board with the pump relay but there was still the low flow code issue also. After searching the internet I found one person who had the same issue and it was flow related. I ordered the water solenoid instead of the more expensive expansion board and installed it. I immediately saw a large difference in the washer flow rate and the detergent pump started working. Apparently there is logic that prevents the detergent pup from running below a specific flow rate. All is good now.
