Problem
Burn values won't turn after a power bump.
Tools
Screw drivers and open end wrenches
Repair & Advice
The burn nobs won't turn after a power outage. I found that there is a material in the burn valve that will seal when a power voltage surge happens and then won't allow the burner knob to turn. This is a feature to prevent any unlit gas from filling up an area and then causing a potential expulsion scenario.

Problem
Damaged burner valve
Tools
Screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, gas sniffer
Repair & Advice
Older but higher end Kitchenaid range in a rental, so worth repairing. Valve was sticking and turned out to have been damaged by a bothched prior attempt to repair. Could have just replaced the valve but swapping out the manfold got all valves replaced (most of which were also showing signed of age). So def worth the additional cost, and the repair time would have been about the same.
