My washing machine wouldn't agitate but would spin ok. I ran a diagnostic and got no codes so I narrowed it down to the gear box/transmission. In frustration I scheduled a repair man to fix it. After calming down a couple of days later I removed the front cover. After looking at the inside of the machine I realized it didn't look that complicated. I found the gearbox on Parts Dr. And ordered it and received it 2 days later. I canceled the repair man and my wife and I did it ourselves on a Saturday morning. We started at 8:00 and we're done by 11:00. The only problem I had was I had to go buy a 33mm socket because the old drum nut wouldn't cooperate. It was a breeze. The part was an exact match and we were doing our laundry by noon. Thanks Parts Dr. I couldn't be more pleased.

It seems the rubber washer for the bolt of the actuator split. This allowed water to go down the shaft and leak into the bearing assembly. Other that the the arts fit perfectly and runs like new
