Problem
The panel was cracked and the tabs on the back that secure the timer were broken so the timer was just flopping around inside.
Tools
1/4” nut driver and a small hook pick to remove the knob.
Repair & Advice
Easy replacement. Remove the clip holding the knob on the timer with a hook pick or a pair of small needle nose pliers. Remove 3 screws from the back of the panel, slide it to the side towards the timer and remove the panel. Timer and other controls are removed by releasing the tab and turning the timer/ component 1/4 turn. Install in the reverse order.
