Problem
GE WCVH6800J1MR washer had E22. The washer would not fill before it would timeout.
Tools
Pliers, flat and Phillips Screwdrivers, 7mm nutdriver.
Repair & Advice
This washer would pause during cycles and would not complete the rinse cycle. First disconnect power and turn water off. I removed the top by removing the 3 screws on the trim piece (phillips screwdriver) and releasing the clips holding it in place (flat screwdriver). Then removed the 3 screws on the back side of the top (7mm nutdriver). Slide the top back a few inches and lift off. Remove the washer hoses from the valve. Unplug the wiring clips. Remove the hose connected to the old water inlet valve by squeezing together hose clamp (pliers). Remove screw on backside of washer holding old valve in place (phillips screwdriver). Put new valve in place attaching screw, connecting hose, plugging in wiring clips-harness prevents you from doing this wrong-, and reconnecting washer hoses. Replace top and trim. Turn water and power back on.
