Problem
Timer hard to turn.
Tools
Screw drivers.
Repair & Advice
Unplugged the dryer, slid the dryer out for access to the rear panel. Removed 2 screws and the back came off. I then removed the wires one at a time.putting each wire on the new timer until I completely changed all the wires then I removed 1 screw from the base of the timer and removed it. Then installed the rear panel and slid the dryer back in place. Then plugged it in and tried the dryer out. The timer was a direct replacement and it worked perfectly.
