The original timer was tight to turn and the knob kept stripping.

Problem
Dryer timer would not count down, causing dryer to run indefinitely

screwdriver, needle nose pliers
Repair & Advice
Disconnect Power, Take the front panel of the control center off using the screwdriver, unscrew the old timer and take photo of wire configuration.
Remove wires with needle nose pliers if needed. put on new timer and reverse order to reinstall.
