Repair & Advice
Unplug dryer from wall outlet. Shut off water supply if dryer is equipped with a steam dewrinkle option. Open dryer door and locate 2 screws in the top corners of door opening and remove the screws. Remove top panel by lifting front and pulling slightly. remove two screws, one at each top corner where the front panel and sides meet. Be sure to support the front panel with a leg or a helper as it will fall forward when the 2nd screw is removed. Tilt front panel forward being careful not to pull the wire harness to tight. But sure to take a picture or make note of configuration of the 2-3 wires that need disconnected, particularly the door switch wires. If the Brown wire and the white wire get reversed you will most likely fry the control board when you plug the dryer back in. Unplug water line if applicable. Remove front panel, replace bearing assembly, it unsnaps and slides upward. If you are only replacing the Bearing slides the assembly does not have to be removed. if you got this far you don't need instructions on replacing the slides, pretty self explanitory. Reassemble dryer in reverse order, start it up and go brag to your wife on how smart you are. Have Fun.
