Problem
The original manufacturer’s rack rusted considerably.
Tools
Replaced with this aftermarket replacement rack.
Repair & Advice
This replacement rack is much better as the rubber coating around the prongs and frame are much better. The mechanism to raise and lower prongs are firmer and larger pots/pans can be accommodated. Getting the parts from Dr Parts was timely and appropriately priced. I’d purchase again.

Problem
Racks were peeling and rusting. They had been repaired with appliance coating, but that lasted only 9 months. We like our current dishwasher but needed new racks.
Tools
None.
Repair & Advice
We remove the old rack, and installed the new rack into the dishwasher. We moved the silverware tray from the old rack and placed it in the new rack. That’s all that is required to change the rack.

Problem
Needed a new lower basket for my GE Profile Dishwasher.
Tools
None.
Repair & Advice
Checked around the web trying to find a replacement basket to a 10 year old GE Profile Dishwasher. GE didn't have the part in stock and it was more expensive than the Parts Dr. even though the Parts Dr listed it as an original GE replacement part. Ordered it on a Monday using standard shipping and it arrived the next day! The part was an original GE part and fit perfectly. Will definitely use the Part Dr again for any future needs.
