Dishwasher would not drain.

Screwdriver to remove the solenoid, multimeter for diagnosis, socket and ratchet to remove front cover, pick to remove clip.
Repair & Advice
The timer would not advance, so I replaced the timer. The timer then functioned, but the dishwasher would not drain. Used a multimeter to diagnose the failed solenoid. Once removed found the solenoid to be seized and melted. The timer stuck causing the solenoid to melt and malfunction. This job could have been completed without the multimeter, however the solenoid was burnt on the back, so it would’ve had to be removed to see it. If you have a burned solenoid, be sure to check the timer.
