The gasket for a GE GCF520PGD0WW dishwasher was functional but discolored.

Repair & Advice
Quick and easy to snap out the old one and snap in the replacement. Online videos showed sliding it out sideways from the location in the door, but for me it would not slide. However, it would snap out - pushing the gasket down and toward the door and the new one would snap in to replace. Since I first tried unsuccessfully to slide it, I was hesitant to try snapping it out but with a little force it easily popped out. If uncomfortable doing this on the door while the door is attached, you can remove the door to lay on a flat surface to get a better angle and working space.
