Problem
Dispenser had stopped working.
Tools
Phillips head screw driver.
Repair & Advice
Remember to do most of these steps, until you get down to the dispenser itself and verify that that the part number listed on the sticker of your dispenser matches the one you're about to buy, before ordering the part.
I first popped the rectangular piece of trim off from around the dispenser area, being careful not to snap it and lost a couple tabs in the process anyway (still clipped back into place just fine in the end). Unscrewed the Phillips head screws at the top and middle and easily pulled out the touch display, disconnecting the two connectors at the top, leaving the single green wire connected, carefully swinging the touch display over to my counter top. Then disconnected water outlet tube, popping it up and pulling the tube out of the guides and away. Two more Phillips head screws on either side of the dispenser and it should be able to be pulled free, after carefully disconnecting the plugs. Install in reverse order, being careful to move wires out of the way/ back into the correct positions. It may be helpful to take pictures as you go along to remind yourself where and how it all went together to begin with!

Problem
The icemaker and water dispenser would occasionally not shut off.
Tools
Phillips head Screwdriver and putty knife
Repair & Advice
Replacing this part is very straight forward. 1. Remove the front panel trim using a putty knife. 2. Disconnect the circuit board. 3. Unscrew the Dispenser 4. Reattach circuit board. 5. Reattach trim. The most difficult part is removal of the trim...I was concerned that the tabs holding the trim would break...and some of them did.
Part arrived securely packaged and 1 day prior to when I expected it... I was very pleased with the service provided by Parts Dr.

Problem
Water dispenser lever got broken
Tools
Phillips screwdriver, trim
Repair & Advice
The plastic lever in my water dispenser got broken at one of the 2 "ears" (the part hooking up to the main assembly). It's unfortunate (and exploitative/somewhat unethical/wasteful) they don't sell this part by itself. It should be $2 part. Instead I have to purchase the entire new assembly costing $130 just for the plastic lever.
Replacing is straightforward if you already know how to take the face plate out. Remove 4 Philips screws, remove the electrical connectors and now you can swap the dispenser assembly. Remember to put back the electrical connectors, put back the screws and you should be fine.
I'm not sure what to do now with the old assembly. I hate throwing a perfectly working dispenser (save the lever) to the landfill. At the same time the lever is destined to fail again after some time (this is already the 2nd time I'm replacing it). I'm tempted to just superglue it back, or perhaps machine a part that looks and functions just like it for the future.
