Vent hood was not able to turn on and randomly will shut off when it did run on fast mode.

I have taken the vent hood motor completely off the unit. I cleaned all the grease internally and had the unit disassemble. I finally got my new motor and I proceeded to assemble everything back to normal. After the assembly i turned the unit on and everything was working beautiful. Thanks to this website for having the right part and the fast shipping.

The previous blower motor finally stopped working after being worked on(sprayed with WD40 and taken apart by our maintenance guy once and by myself another time. The brushes in the assembly would not energize anymore.

An 11 in 1 screwdriver

I disassembled the bottomed half of the chimney housing, unscrewed the compression band from the vent duct, removed the filter from the range hood to get to the blower motor, removed the two screws holding up the motor, unplugged the harness attached to it, and removed it from the range hood. I put the new motor in and reattached everything, plugged the harness in and turned it on. It worked like a charm and runs quieter, like before. I need to get the charcoal filter and put it inside the range hood before the grease filter, so that the blower motor will last longer before becoming clogged.
