Tools
I utilized a specialized small head hex type screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Over time the motors of our over the stove exhaust blower began to make out of character noises. I removed the unit and attempted to clean any grease and dust build up that may have occurred over time. Once I re-installed the unit the blower basket would never circulate as it once did. Causing a rubbing and scraping sound to be emitted. Our exhaust unit has two fans for operation. I recently replaced one fan after having experience the same problem. Shortly after replacing the first unit the second fan began to make the same noises and problems. I didn't hesitate to order the second unit from PartsDR.com. I received the second unit as I did the first in prompt timing and in undamaged shipping condition. Now the new fans work just as well if not better than the original fans once did. Thanks, PartsDr.com.. Great job on the replacement parts!!

Problem
Fan in the over the stove ventilation began to make a knocking type sound....
Tools
I used a hex type screw driver to withdraw and install in three screws holding the unit in place....
Repair & Advice
We began to notice a knocking type sound emitting from the over the stove ventilation unit.. Upon removing one fan I was able to determine that the unit had a small amount of lint and grease attached to the fans.. Once I removed the fan I cleaned and dried the unit's fan blades. After a few days of normal operation the unit began to make the same noises again and this prompted me to hit the internet in search of a replacement fan... Upon searching I found the replacement part on numerous sites ranging $200 to $400 dollars.. My search lead me to the Parts Dr. website and I quickly noticed that the price was much more reasonable than the other sites.. My advice is do you research and you will definitely save yourself a great deal of money. I would without hesitation consult with The Parts Dr. website again for similar appliance parts... Thanks Parts Dr..
