Rocket Switch hinge broke. Need to replace

Plastic wedge tool ( to pop the rocker housing from the slot ), after turning off the power used my hands to remove the connections from the broken housing and reconnect on new housing, popped the housing back into the hood and turned the power back on.

Plastic wedge tool ( to pop the rocker housing from the slot ), after turning off the power used my hands to remove the connections from the broken housing and reconnect on new housing, popped the housing back into the hood and turned the power back on.
Getting the old housing out was slightly tricky but be patient and don’t force.

Very simple and cost-savings DIY repair. New rocker switch to replace the one that cracked and broke after 15 years. Two screws and plug in contacts; no loose wires.

The rocker part of the swich was broken out of our unit when we moved into our home and this switch replaced the old one and only took a few minutes to replace.
