Problem
The end cap on the handle of our GE Profile gas range was damaged. Bought a new handle to replace the entire unit.
Tools
Phillips head screwdriver, 1/4” nut driver
Repair & Advice
The replacement handle did not come with instructions. You have to actually remove the oven door in order to gain access to the screws holding the handle on the door. My oven door had small latches that had to be unlocked in order to remove the door. Slide the door up and off the range, loosen two screws holding the top of the inside door, remove 4 screws at the bottom of the door. Separate the back of the door from the front of the door to access the handle screws. YouTube helps!
