Pulled old knobs straight up to remove. Aligned new knob to post ensuring flat sides lined up. Pushed down onto post. Had to push past first stop to properly install at the correct height.

I have gone through 3 knobs so far, it's always the same one that breaks due to it getting heated from the pan on the large burner. Knobs from GE are $60 each, this set was a great deal.
