Middle ring of my largest burner quit working

Took one bit to lift the cooktop

Ordered a new burner for my glass top stove. The center ring of my burner quit working. Super easy. Had to remove a few screws to open the cooktop and the burners are right there. Take a picture of the wires just to be sure you hook it up right. Other than that and unplugging before starting it was a piece of cake and the part was a perfect match.

I used a YouTube video, it was very easy to replace and took about 15 min. It’s been working great for a month so far.

Burner would not come on

#2 Phillips driver, flat head for clips l, pliers for connectors

First you have to unscrew the front of the glass top which contains 5 #2 Phillip screws pop the top and I always use a hook and cord to support it to the cabinet above or to the side make notation of wire orientation use the pliers to gently disconnect the wires use the flat head driver to pop the retaining clips out of the plate remove old element remover the clips on the element making notation of the numbered mounting slots remount clips on new element and gently place the element on the retainer plate and press the clips on place reconnect wires lower lid test the element then replace retaining screws on the lid
