Two built in plastic clips held the ice maker in place. One on the right bottom and one on the left side. Push the bottom clip up and pull the ice maker out slightly then disengage the left cllip while pulling the ice maker. It will slide out. Then disconnect the electrical connector and remove. Once out place the new ice maker close enough to reconnect the electrical connector and slide the ice make in place until both clip snap into place.

I had a service company come out and he informed me what was faulty and how to buy and replace myself to save some money so I did and it replaced very easy.

I was amazed at how fast the part arrived. I actually ordered the same from manufacturer; cancelled! popping it out was a little challenging but plugged and clicked in new part with ease. Working perfectly now. For 2 weeks?
