Problem
The old heating element's sealing washers broke and water was leaking out of the bottom of the dishwasher during wash cycles.

Repair & Advice
I removed the old heating element by unscrewing the ends and removing the cable connections. I then installed the new heating element in the same way and ensured that the sealing washers were tight to not let water out. I then put the dishwasher back in place. Very straightforward repair.
