My oven started displaying "err EO F2" and I self diagnosed this as a broken or faulty control panel.

Phillips screwdriver, preferred cleaning spray, paper towels.

I have never fixed an oven. This one is the whirlpool with the convection oven Yada Yada...it's nice. Also one month out of warranty. Started displaying an error code and none of the control buttons would work. So I googled the error code, came back as a faulty or broken touch pad. Decided to take a look- see at what it entailed to replace. Literally 12 Phillips screws and a handful of color coded plugins....So obviously I called to get a quote for this "difficult " job. $580.00 Five almost six hundred dollars for what took me 10 minutes and 250 bucks for the part. Do yourself a favor, try something you haven't don't, have faith in your own abilities and just trust your gut. It will be obvious when something needs a professional and much more so, when it doesn't.
