Problem
Agitator would not spin but tube would. Started with noise before no movement.
Tools
Electric impact, metric and standard socket set, tube wrench, flat screwdriver, picks.
Repair & Advice
Removed washer from hoses and electrical outlet. Removed back of washer. Disconnected wiring that leads to top of washer. Removed top of washer, mine toke a little banging around was stuck on right front corner due to some rust probably from bleach spout. Removed wash plate (mine was stuck due to rust on splines) broke it removing it. I bought one in advanced had this problem before. Removed tub nut with tub wrench (bought online). Tub also was stuck but after spraying with penetrating oil and let set and wiggling and wiggling, got tub removed. Set washer on its back. Removed motor and stator. Removed gearcase. Cleaned washer tub and all other parts. Put everything back in reverse order.

Problem
Washer making 'howling' sound during the fast spin cycle
Tools
Need special 'tub nut wrench' to detach gearcase from tub.
Repair & Advice
Took entire washer apart once to see if I could pinpoint the source of noise. Everything looked fine, leaving the gearcase as the only remaining culprit.
NOTE: Did not need to remove the entire tub as video showed. After removing the 'tub nut' and removing the components on the under-side, gearcase should fall out the bottom. In my case, I had to beat it out by hammering on the top of the drive shaft, since it was siezed.

Repair & Advice
Was extremely easy to replace but I would also recommend replacing the magnetic clutch at the same time since you’re there anyways
