Problem
Door would not lock shut preventing the washer from turning on.
Tools
Flat head screwdriver, hex key, vise grip pliers.
Repair & Advice
Using the flat head screwdriver, remove the wire ring that secures the rubber gasket. Fold gasket back near the door latch to gain access to the inside part of the latch. Disconnect the electrical connector and then use the hex key to remove the metal screws that holds the latch in place. Install the new latch reversing the previous steps. Using both the flat head screwdriver and vise grip make reinstalling the wire ring a bit easier.
