Problem
Dishwasher would fill but would not advance beyond that point of the cycle.
Tools
Cross point screw driver. Electrical meter. (A/C Volt meter and and ohm meter)
Repair & Advice
Used the electrical print to troubleshoot. The electrical print also had some very useful information about what the resistance of the main motor should be. (Approx 9 ohms) After checking the voltage supply and voltage at the motor it was apparent that we had good supply voltage but the motor was not receiving any voltage to enable its operation. It had to be the main control board. I would suggest that if you attempt to replace this control board that you take pictures with your cell phone paying particular attention to the placement of the various plugs connecting to the board. If you don’t do this it should also be noted the the various plugs can only connect at one point. The pictures save some time.. Make sure that power is disconnected from the appliance before trying to service this part. After replacing the control board replace the covers and run a test cycle.
While replacing the board is pretty easy the troubleshoot tasks can be hard if you are not familiar with electrical schematics or electrical test meters.

Problem
Dishwasher was not heating the water during its cycle. Tested continuity of the heating element and high limit switch. Both were fine. That only left the control board as the culprit.
