I caught my boot on the corner of the plastic control panel on the top of the dishwasher while unloading.

T-15 Torx bit and driver.

Unplug the washer, fold the door open, remove the 10 T-15 Torx screws that are facing up in the area where the door seal sits to remove the outside stainless steel outer door panel. NOT any screws facing to the inside. Partially close the door. You'll need to lift on the outer handle and wiggle to get the door face to let go. Once the face lets go unplug the door lock switch and the control panel. Place the door face on a table or workbench facedown. Remove the door lock switch by unclipping the finger retainers on each side of the switch and pull it toward you. Once the switch is removed take out the screws retaining the control panel to the backside of the door panel and remove. Reverse process to reinstall.
