Problem
Felt strip came off. As the dryer spun it severely damaged the rear bulkhead. Heat escape would make the clothes not dry.
Tools
Screwdrivers, channel locks, crescent wrench, socket wrench.
Repair & Advice
It was surpisingly not as complicated to repair as I thought. Using my cell phone, I took pictures frequently to help remember the steps I went through so I could put the dryer back together again. Getting the belt tensioner to remove the drum is probably the part that I had the most trouble with. Also once the top of the dryer is unscrewed, the wires are connected to the top and it is awkward to remove the top in a way that supports the lid without disconnecting all the wires.
I am not a trained repairperson, and I don’t consider myself to be very handy, so it took me longer than some would take. But it is doable for someone who is willing to try, maybe make some mistakes, and be ok with messing things up and figuring it out.

Problem
Rollers failed, drum wore through rear bulkhead.
Tools
Basic hand tools.
Repair & Advice
Dissembled dryer, replaced rollers, drum felts & rear bulkhead. The most difficult part was replacing the drum felts which needed to be stretched & glued on around the outside ends of the drum, by using a small pair of needle nosed vise grips to trap one side of the felt stopped the felt from coming off as it was being worked around the drum.
