Problem
Whirlpool WFE520S0FS0 Range + Oven combo. I consistently get a F6E1 code along with an oven that overheats and eventually a range that stopped functioning entirely.

10 screws and some push on connectors and the board assembly can be changed. DON'T USE THE SELF CLEANING FUNCTION!!! This is the cause of the damaged board.

Digital read out went blank.
Tools
Square Torx bit Phillips screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Shut if power removed back unplugged wiring harness from old control board removed screws that held it in place then reversed the procedure. Walk worked perfect.

Digital readout unreadable…unable to set correct temp or see time

Simply unplugged stove, removed back cover. Unplugged connections from old control board, removed two screws and removed old board. Installed new control panel, reinserted plug in connections, replaced back cover and plugged stove in.
