The severe vibration of the washer caused the adapter seal to break apart.
Tools
Screwdriver to open the front panel and the top cover to replace the adapter seal.
Repair & Advice
It is very straightforward with our Whirlpool model. Just open the front panel and the top cover to reveal the adaptor seal and agitator. Simply remove the broken seal and put the new one in and close the top cover and front panel.

Severe vibration broke the washer adapter seal

Repair & Advice
Whirlpool top loaded CAE CAE2745FQ0. Uneven floor caused washer a severe vibration and broke Adapter Seal, Tub Ring and Suspension Rods. To replace the Adapter Seal is easy. Open the top panel and take out the damaged adapter seal. Place the new seal on the top of drum and push down to lock onto the drum. Close the top panel.
