Problem
I accidentally threw out my cap filter end that is needed to change the filter. The new one came quickly, fits my kitchen aid perfectly. Now I leave it on the filter in the fridge and hopefully won't throw it away again.

Leave your filter attachment cap right on the filter so you don't accidentally throw it out.

When reinstalling water filter cap I broke it as it is very hard to turn in correct position.

Channel locks vs finger!
Repair & Advice
Suggest using fingers only. I brought two more of the filter caps. I am going to try filling the inside where your fingers grab with epoxy to help strengthen should I try channel locks again!
