Repair & Advice
My KitchenAid oven suddenly stopped working. The front touch screen turned off completely. I tried flipping on and off the circuit a few times but didn’t do anything. Found a couple of videos on YouTube on the most common fixed. The first and cheapest one was to inspect the fuse. This took about 5 minutes to check. Had to remove the screws holding the oven into the wall and removed the top control panel to inspect the fuse. Fuse looked fried with one of the pieces black and charred. I ordered the part from this website and it arrived within a week. It fit perfectly and matched the broken fuse. I flipped the circuit back on and the oven was back to working condition. My next attempt of replacing the fuse didn’t work was to swap out the circuit board but glad I didn’t have to do that. I think that part was north of $400.
