Problem
Whirlpool washer front panel went dead. Some YouTube assisted troubleshooting helped me determine it was the display panrl

Screwdriver and nut driver. Multimeter. Common sense.
Repair & Advice
YouTube always a big help. That helped with accessing the panel which wasn’t straightforward. Once I got in there I figured it wasn’t the power supply through process of elimination so it has to be the panel. It took about 3 days for the panel l to arrive. Plugged it in and tried it out and viola it worked. $250 was much better than paying $800 for a whole new machine.
