Problem
Washer had loud noise during spin cycle.
Tools
Screwdrivers, drill, nut drivers, socket set, car jack and 2x4 to remove tub.
Repair & Advice
Inner tub will probably be stuck. Use a 2x4 and a small car jack set on the spindle to pull it off.

Problem
Washer made loud noise during spin cycle.
Tools
Nut driver, screwdriver, socket/ratchet/extension, camera(to make sure I remember how things go back together).
Repair & Advice
Maytag washer bearings were bad after just 4 years. Had to replace entire gear case. Parts Dr was less expensive and wonderful experience. I recommend you find video on how to replace the part you need before ordering to see if you think you can handle the task. Take pictures of wiring connections and parts in general as a reference for reassembly. I completed this repair in 1 hour, now good as new.
