Problem
Refrigerator too cold.
Tools
1/4" Nut Driver.
Repair & Advice
This part comes as an assembly with the fan and two thermistors. It just plugs into the harness. Replacing the part is simple. The complexity and time to repair comes in because in order to access the part you have to remove all the shelves and drawers. The upper plastic cover is an air duct that unsnaps. You always worry you are using too much force. See Technical Service Pointer W11092686A. Make sure you clamp the defrost thermistor tightly and in full contact with the suction tubing directly coming out of the evaporator. The tubing has a solder splice. Don't clamp over the splice and use a wire tie to make it firm.

Problem
Fan making noise, believe ice buildup was pushing the fan rotor up into the bearing housing causing the noise
Tools
screw driver, I think 1/4" nut driver (?)
Repair & Advice
Quite honestly, just followed internet videos and directions; required some time to remove shelves and inner wall coverings and most of the time to defrost the unit completely and clear out the ice but rather easy overall.

Repair & Advice
Heard the telltale sound of the fan being ice-logged, ordered this part and it fit perfectly. Couldn’t have been a batter quality part!
