Problem
Ice build up on the evaporator was causing the fan to hit ice buildup.
Tools
1/4 inch nut driver/wrench. Flat blade screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
This was a french door freezer on the bottom refrigerator. First I "UNPLUGGED" the refrigerator. Then removed bottom freezer door by loosening two 1/4 inch nuts. Removed food and drawer tub and all the baskets etc. Removed the air grill by pressing 3 tabs with flat blade screwdriver. removed four 1/4 screws and carefully removing back sheet metal (edges can be very sharp so be careful) Then disconnecting all the wires to the assembly. Which also includes the defrost sensor etc. Then reversed the process. Easy job.
