Repair & Advice
The power cord to our stove was chewed by a mouse so we had to disconnect it and order a replacement cord. Entered the model number and found the part super easy. Placed my order and waited, wonderfully I was only waiting a couple of days. I pulled out the stove and found on my model there was a rectangular access to the back of the cord. I unscrewed the grounding wire that was right on the front and then my helper (10 year old with much smaller hands) reached through the access hole and pinched the sides of the connector and pulled it off the cord. Now to get the cord to pull out you do have to pry the black plug. I didn't have patience to go get the toolbox so I used a flat butter knife and popped it out. Once it was out I just threaded the new cord in, popped the plug in place, my son pushed the connectors together and snapped them in place, I screwed the grounding wire back in and DONE! Plugged it all back in and everything worked like it should.
