Problem
Dryer Door Seal was Breaking
Tools
Flathead screwdriver, High Temperature Adhesive, and Gloves(use gloves to keep the adhesive off of your hands because it is very sticky)
Repair & Advice
Use the flathead screwdriver to pry up the old seal in several places all the way around and then you can just pull the old seal off. Clean the groove with a wet rag. Apply a thin line of high temperature adhesive all the way around the groove on the dryer door. Carefully place the seal into the groove and then go back and press down firmly in place. Allow about 20 minutes for the adhesive to dry.

Problem
Broken door seal.
Tools
None needed.
Repair & Advice
I just ordered the part, stretched it onto the door frame, and it fit perfectly. I did not use any adhesive and have never had it fall off.

Problem
Our Whirlpool dryer door seal had become frayed & was leaving small pieces of wire in our clothes.
Tools
Pliers to pull the old glued seal loose from the door.
Repair & Advice
This is very simple & required all of 7 minutes. Part of that time was looking for my adhesive.
I pulled old seal from the door with pliers. I then checked the seal for fit. It was perfect. I moved the seal off to the side, spread 5 min set adhesive into the groove with a applicator, being careful to only apply thin layer & into the lower groove area only to prevent any extra being pushed out onto the door. I then pressed the seal into place, insured there was no extra adhesive squishing out & shut the door.
Fits perfect & was super easy to do.
