Broke the front glass of my stainless steel Maytag oven door.

Hairdryer, gloves, tape.

Getting the manufacturer's adhesive off was a pain. I used a hairdryer to soften the adhesive as it is pretty thick. I also wore kevlar gloves as i peeled it off to not get cut by the glass still stuck to it. Once it was all off, i used alcohol to wipe down the steel panel and the glass. I bought Scotts double-sided tape (the strongest black tape they sell at Lowe's) and had to layer it up to match the thickness of the original ( 3 layers of tape on top of each other) the tape is STRONG AND STICKY it's okay to layer. The part fit perfectly in my model.
