Problem

The new washer was delivered with the neutral prong pushed between the other two prongs. Since we hadn't installed the washer until after the one year warranty was expired, we had to replace it ourselves. I paid an extra $2 for quicker delivery. It was delivered the very next day.

Tools

Pliers, screwdriver, long needle nose curved pliers to remove clips in the top of the washer cover.

Repair & Advice

The control top of the washer had to be pulled up because the power cord runs around and back into the control panel housing. The worst part was getting the clips released to be able to pull up the control panel. The long needle nose curved pliers were necessary to remove the clips. Once that was done, changing the power cord was simple. Washer is working fine. I am giving a difficult rearing because it is hard to get to and remove the clips that hold the control panel down.
